Unit Manager
Job Summary:
Vivo Healthcare Normandy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Unit Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our healthcare unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the healthcare unit, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
Develop and implement effective policies, procedures, and programs to promote patient care and safety
Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and communication
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient records, statistics, and performance metrics
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare management role
Degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)
Current RN/LPN licensure in the state of Florida
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
