Position Overview
The Field-Based Clinical Manager drives, builds, and oversees Success On The Spectrum’s in-school ABA therapy division. In this role, you take full ownership of developing and scaling our school-based clinical operations, supervising field RBTs, and collaborating directly with educational partners. This position offers high daily autonomy, operating primarily across contracted school sites with a flexible, field-based schedule.
Core ResponsibilitiesSchool Program Development & Clinical Oversight: Design and build standardized workflows for classroom-based ABA delivery. Conduct functional behavior assessments (VB-MAPP, AFLS, FBA) tailored to educational environments, and create individualized, school-compatible treatment plans.
In-Field RBT Supervision & Mentorship: Direct, train, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior interns working on-site in schools. Conduct regular field observations to ensure strict procedural fidelity and compliance with school classroom etiquette.
District & School Liaison: Serve as the primary clinical point of contact for school administrators, teachers, and IEP teams. Lead multidisciplinary collaboration to align ABA programming with classroom goals and manage school-level conflict resolution.
Parent & Educational Coordination: Host progress reviews and training sessions with parents to bridge home, clinic, and school generalization. Serve as the clinical authority for school-based care discussions.
Compliance & Authorizations: Review daily field session notes in CentralReach, manage school-based prior authorization requests, and ensure all clinical documentation meets both insurance mandates and school district privacy standards.
Division Leadership & Quality Control: Track performance metrics for the school division, develop school-specific onboarding modules, and report directly to Executive Leadership on division growth, contract health, and clinical quality.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (aligned with standard school calendars).
Location: Hybrid / Field-Based.
Offsite/In-School (4 Days/Week): Direct field supervision, administrative meetings, and clinical support at contracted local school sites.
Clinic Onsite (1 Day/Week): One dedicated day per week at the Sanford center for administrative work, leadership syncs, and team planning.
