Job Summary
Xray Technologist Emergency Department Nebraska
This position involves providing advanced radiologic imaging services in a Level I Trauma Emergency Department. The role includes performing fluoroscopy, portable X-rays, and C-Arm procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment, supporting trauma patients, and ensuring high-quality imaging within a specialized trauma setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: Perform fluoroscopy and diagnostic X-ray procedures on inpatients and emergency department patients, including portable X-rays on patient floors and C-Arm procedures in the operating room. Utilize radiologic equipment such as R/F, IT systems, McKesson PACS, Centricity RIS, and EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting with trauma experience; ARRT registration; AHA BLS certification; Nebraska license; experience with trauma, imaging, portable X-Rays, C-Arm procedures, and fluoroscopy (preferred).
- Schedule: Night shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week with a start date of 09/14/2026 and an end date of 12/14/2026.
- Additional Information: Must be a self-starter with good team skills and able to adapt to changing situations; onboarding begins with department-specific on-the-job training, including NEO and other departmental training. Frequently manages 20-25 patients per shift in a busy trauma setting, with minimal support staff. Will need to adhere to dress code: red scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs for surgery.
- Certifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist), AHA BLS, Nebraska license.
- Floating: Float rotation may be required between the Emergency Department and Diagnostic Department.
