Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of trauma and stroke experience for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule: Week 1 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7p-730a; Week 2 - Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7p-730a
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with trauma and stroke cases required
- Associate's Degree or equivalent required
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- ARRT certification required
- Current State/District license required if applicable
- Active license required, no pending licenses accepted
- Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the last 12 months preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer
Additional Information
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors, adjusting technical factors based on patient body habitus
- Position patients correctly and review physician orders to obtain pertinent clinical data
- Produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self
- Assist physicians during procedures including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions, and code response
- Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes
- Must live within 50 miles of the facility
