Job Summary
The organization is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist in a radiology department to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. The role involves independently conducting CT and X-ray examinations, producing high-quality radiographs, and providing patient education and care throughout the imaging process. This position reports directly to the imaging services manager and requires technical proficiency and excellent communication skills.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Graduate with ARRT Registry, with at least 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT and X-ray examinations.
  • Use proper technical factors for image quality.
  • Evaluate images for proper exposure and positioning.
  • Schedule exams and instruct patients on preparations.
  • Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures.
• Additional Information:
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with colleagues, physicians, patients, and visitors.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver patients and equipment, and to work in various positions.
  • Ability to work independently in emergency situations, maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering quality service.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
