Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Texas. This position involves executing specialized therapy plans to improve patients motor skills and coordination, as well as instructing patients and families on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and adaptive equipment use. The role emphasizes patient education, documentation, and operational tasks within a healthcare facility setting.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Two years of occupational therapist assistant (OTA) experience in long-term care (LTC) setting, Texas or compact license, and direct observation review (DOR) experience preferred.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Treatment implementation, ADL training, adaptive equipment instruction, monitoring and documentation, patient education and support, and operational tasks including equipment cleaning and administrative duties.
- Submission requirements: Candidates must meet the specified experience and licensing criteria.
