Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) The healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. This position involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures within a magnet and Level II trauma facility, with a focus on assisting with complex cardiac catheterizations and neurointerventions.
Job Details
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Education/Degree: Not specified.
- Location requirement: Candidates permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Experience requirement: 2 years of experience in cardiac cath labs or interventional radiology.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional qualifications: On-call duty requiring 1 shift per week and on every 4th weekend, with some Saturdays included in scheduled shifts.
- Responsibilities include assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, embolizations, stroke thrombectomy, neurointerventions, and device implants.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to support different units within scope of practice, including IR and electrophysiology labs.
- Submission requirements: Candidates must submit 2 references covering 1-year period, verify certifications, and provide a copy of charting experience (preferably Epic).
- Notes on practice: Providers will be expected to work two major holidays and may be called off for one 10-hour shift every two weeks.
