Job Details:
Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: West Bronx, NY
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2684.48 - 2818.70
Schedule: 5 - 8hr Shifts with 1hr lunch. Total of 35 guaranteed hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements:
- New York State License as an X-ray Technologist
- Certification to inject per the requirements of section 89.40 of part 89
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Registered)
- BLS and ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology
- Cardiovascular credentialing (CCI) (ARRT) or (RCIS)
- Two (2) years’ experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech or X-ray Technologist
- Minimum one (1) year experience working in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in the Cardiology unit
- Assist with interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care
