Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring CT competency, EPIC experience, and ARRT certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a 122-bed facility
- CT Scan unit
- Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts, Sunday through Wednesday
- No call requirements
- No OR responsibilities
- Must have current CT modality experience
- Must have EPIC experience
- Performs at least three imaging modalities on a regular basis
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred
- 3 years of technical experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- RT license in state of practice required (license required if applicable)
- ARRT certification required, including ARRT-R
- Current certification in one modality with ability to perform duties in at least one additional advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET)
- Additional modality-specific certification required (such as ARRT-CT, ARRT-M, ARRT-MRI, ARMRIT, ARRT-NMT, SNMT, ARRT-S, RDMS, RDCS, CCI-RCS, or RTPET)
- EPIC experience required
Additional Information
- Responsible for the operation of x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography equipment
- Performs radiographic, mammographic, CT, and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with experience
- Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
- Tests defibrillator and checks integrity of crash cart
- Performs mobile imaging examinations as necessary
- Safely prepares contrast agents for medical imaging procedures
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates
