Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a multi-modality Radiology department, requiring California RT licensure, CT and X-ray skillset, and EPIC experience.
Details
- Diagnostic Radiology unit within an acute care hospital
- 4x10 variable day shifts, Friday through Monday, starting 10am Friday-Sunday and 8am Mondays
- On-call required 2-4 nights per week during workdays from 2030 to 0400
- Schedule subject to change based on facility needs
- Utilizes a Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required
- Additional ARRT certification required in CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license required
- Fluoroscopy certification required
- IV certification required or willingness to obtain
- CT and X-ray skillset preferred; X-ray techs without CT experience will be considered
- Must be able to perform at least three imaging modalities competently
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- 122-bed acute care hospital offering emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical, and outpatient services
- Perform radiographic, mammographic, CT, and/or ultrasound examinations based on experience
- Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
- Test defibrillator and check integrity of crash cart
- Perform mobile imaging examinations as necessary
- Safely prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined
- No radius rule applies; local candidates receive the same rate as travel candidates
- Travelers may only be submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
