Configuration Analyst - Full-time

**Description** The **Configuration Analyst** will be supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center - Atlantic (NIWC LANT) and U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) programs. This person will sit in **North Charleston, SC** . **Key Duties and Responsibilities:** + Support the CM Lead in establishing and maintaining a CM process for controlling hardware, software, documentation, media, and parts + Identify, document, and verify the functional, performance, and physical characteristics of systems and their interfaces + Support stakeholders in managing change control processes, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Deviation (RFD), and Notices of Revision (NOR) + Assist the Configuration Management Lead in planning, conducting, and documenting Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) to ensure system compliance and accuracy + Manage and maintain hardware and software configuration data using government systems, such as the DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR) **Qualifications**  **Required Education:** + BS degree and five (5) years experience; Four (4) years experience can be considered in lieu of degree **Required Skills:** + Understanding basic configuration management principles and practices + Skilled with CM tools for status accounting and baseline management + Experience in CM plans, baselines, and change control processes for complex hardware and software systems + Show knowledge of the engineering change process, including ECPs, RFDs, and NORs + Experience in conducting and documenting FCAs and PCAs + Familiarity with DoD data management systems such as DITPR **Clearance Requirements:** + Active TS/SCI REQNUMBER: 2616099 SAIC is a premier technology integrator, solving our nation's most complex modernization and systems engineering challenges across the defense, space, federal civilian, and intelligence markets.
