CNC MACHINIST II — LATHE & MILL

Location: Henderson, NV
Shift: Day Shift — Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $24.00–$28.00/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY

Seeking a CNC Machinist II with experience setting up and operating 2-axis CNC lathes and/or 3-axis CNC mills to produce plastic and non-metallic parts according to customer and quality specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate CNC lathe and mill machines for new and repeat jobs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, sketches, and technical documents.
• Edit and retrieve CNC programs as needed.
• Inspect completed work using micrometers, calipers, height gages, and comparators.
• Complete production paperwork and MRP documentation.
• Troubleshoot setup and programming issues and communicate production concerns.
• Meet production schedules and support cycle-time improvements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized 5S work area.

REQUIREMENTS

• ITAR Requirement, must be a US Citizen or US Person
• 3+ years of CNC lathe and/or mill experience.
• Experience with CNC program editing and machine setup.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math/measurement conversions.
• Knowledge of inspection tools and quality procedures.
• Basic computer skills; JobBOSS experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
