Candidate Qualifications

·         Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)

·         Completion of a three-year podiatric surgical residency

·         Virginia license or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure

·         DEA registration or eligibility

·         Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred

·         ABPS certification is a plus, but not required

·         Strong clinical and surgical skills

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Comfortable managing a busy clinical schedule

·         Willingness to participate in hospital call

·         Wound-care interest or experience is a plus
