We're recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to join an established precision engineering manufacturer in Allentown, PA.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead the Quality function, managing a team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors while driving IATF 16949 compliance, customer quality and continuous improvement.

Strong IATF 16949 and automotive quality experience is required.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of 2 Quality Engineers and 3 Quality Inspectors
• Maintain and continuously improve the IATF 16949 Quality Management System
• Lead APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan and SPC activities
• Manage customer and internal quality issues through 8D and root cause analysis
• Monitor and improve scrap, rework, customer complaints and PPM
• Lead internal, external and customer quality audits
• Manage supplier quality and corrective action activities
• Lead MRB reviews and resolution of nonconforming material
• Act as the primary customer contact for quality issues
• Develop quality training and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' quality leadership experience within automotive or IATF 16949 manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and SPC
• Strong 8D, root cause analysis and corrective action experience
• Knowledge of CMMs, manual gauges and precision inspection equipment
• Proven experience leading Quality Engineers and Inspectors
• Strong customer, supplier and cross-functional communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality or related discipline preferred
