Community Outreach Coordinator

Looking for a retiree who needs a little extra money, wants to help out in their community, and has an extremely flexible schedule. Individual would be responsible for scheduling all tabling events where our information on suicide awareness, prevention, and postvention is shared and discussed with the public that visits the table. Individual must have excellent people skills, be willing to take trainings in suicide prevention, have reliable transportation as many events are scattered in the counties of Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester in Maryland. Individual must seek out new opportunities to reach new audiences and not afraid to speak in front of groups. We are asked to be at events at various times of the day and days of the week.

You would be the face of our non-profit and be willing to engage individuals of all backgrounds and age groups in a difficult topic.
