About the Role:
Select Drink Inc is looking for a reliable and customer focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Hazelwood, MO! This is a great opportunity for a person who loves taking care of customers, greets everyone with a smile and a "good morning" and delivers products in a manner that leaves a customer saying..."what a great guy". If you love being on the road and take pride in doing a job well, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate up to a 26 ft panel truck delivering products to some of the best restaurants, bars and entertainment venues in St. Louis.
- Load and unload product at Select's warehouse and at the customers place of business
- Verify delivery accuracy by checking orders against invoices or manifests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked delivery vehicle
- Build positive relationships with customers through professional and courteous service
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies
Requirements:
- Valid A,B, or C driver's license with a clean driving record
- Hazardous Material Cert. a plus
- Prior delivery, route driving, or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery schedules
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated work ethic
- Basic math and communication skills for order verification and customer interaction
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
