Licensed Massage Therapist

The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide professional massage services to a diverse clientele including the general public, athletes, and spa clients. Working independently, the therapist will operate within environments such as spas, wellness centers, medical clinics, hospitals, private practices, and fitness centers. This role demands a strong commitment to client care, hygiene, and effective communication to promote relaxation, healing, and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and health conditions to tailor massage treatments
• Perform various massage techniques including Swedish and deep tissue therapy
• Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes
• Communicate effectively with clients about treatment plans and progress
• Ensure strict sanitation and hygiene standards are met
• Manage appointment scheduling and client follow-ups
• Deliver high-quality customer service to foster client satisfaction and retention

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program
• Valid state massage therapy license

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in massage therapy
• Proficiency in Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
