Scheduler (Home Care)

Healing by Nature Senior Care is a home care agency serving clients in Leon, Jefferson, Madison, Wakulla, and Gadsden counties. The Scheduler is responsible for building and maintaining daily caregiver schedules, filling open and canceled shifts, and serving as the primary scheduling contact for caregivers, clients, and families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain caregiver schedules
• Fill open shifts and respond to call-outs
• Monitor electronic visit verification (EVV) clock-ins and clock-outs, follow up on missed or late visits, and correct visit records as required
• Serve as the daily point of contact for caregivers regarding shift assignments, availability, and time-off requests
• Notify clients and families of caregiver assignments and schedule changes
• Maintain accurate scheduling records to support payroll and billing
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours coverage

Qualifications

Required

• Two or more years of scheduling, staffing, dispatch, or coordination experience
• Proficiency with scheduling software and standard office applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and successful completion of a Level 2 background screening

Preferred

• Experience in home care, home health, or a healthcare staffing environment
• Working knowledge of AxisCare, EVV requirements, and Florida AHCA regulations
• CNA or HHA certification
