Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time) — Primary Care / Retail Clinic

Location: Rock Hill, SC 29732 (on-site, patient-facing)
Contract to hire
Pay: $74.87/hr

Schedule / Hours

  • 27.5 hours/week
  • Every Monday & Friday + every other weekend
  • Must be available: November 25–29, 2026 and December 26–28, 2026
  • Holiday/weekend rotations may apply based on clinic needs

Position Summary

Part-time Nurse Practitioner role providing evidence-based primary and family care in a high-volume outpatient clinic setting. You’ll work collaboratively with a clinical care team while practicing autonomously to support strong patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of common acute/chronic conditions
  • Provide health counseling, disposition planning, and follow-up care
  • Conduct routine exams and diagnostic testing as appropriate
  • Support health screenings, wellness/behavioral health, and chronic condition management
  • Administrative duties as needed, including:
    • Opening/closing the clinic
    • Inventory/restocking
    • Patient follow-up
    • Verifying insurance / collecting payment
    • Maintaining a clean, safe clinic environment

Required Qualifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in South Carolina (in good standing; no current or prior disciplinary actions)
  • Master’s degree from an NP program (Family NP preferred) + current national board certification
  • Minimum 1 year recent Primary Care experience as an NP (family medicine, primary care, or urgent care)
  • BLS required (AHA or ARC) — please be prepared to provide proof
  • Strong communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Comfortable working with EMR systems/technology
  • Ability to work autonomously; adaptable and patient-advocacy focused
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (as needed)
