Local Technician - Hospital & Clinic Computer Deployment (Onsite)

Location: Johnstown, PA area
Pay rate: $24.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced L4 Local Technicians to support an upcoming computer deployment project at hospitals and clinics in the Johnstown, PA area.

This is a hands-on deployment role for technicians with strong experience in managed IT deployment services. Technicians will work directly with healthcare personnel and must maintain a professional, dependable, and customer-focused approach throughout the project.

Responsibilities

Technicians will be responsible for:

• Installing client computer systems while reusing existing monitors and peripherals
• De-installing client computer systems while reusing existing monitors and peripherals
• Performing unattended system imaging via server
• Completing automated data migration via network
• Working directly with hospital and clinic personnel in a professional, client-facing environment
• Traveling between the main deployment site and additional project locations as needed
• Following project procedures, schedules, and deployment team instructions
• Weekly reporting to offsite project manager

Ideal Candidate

The ideal technician will have:

• Multiple years of experience in managed deployment services
• Strong hands-on computer deployment experience
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• A professional and dependable work ethic
• Experience working directly with clients in healthcare or similar professional environments
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a deployment team
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established deployment procedures

Important Project Commitment

Full project availability is required.

Technicians must be able to commit to all scheduled working days through project completion. We are specifically seeking technicians who can remain available throughout the deployment and do not anticipate requesting time off during the project.

Technicians will report to the main deployment site and may be required to travel to additional project locations.

Travel between project locations: Technicians will travel as passengers in a client-supplied vehicle. No mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel between the main deployment site and other project locations.
