Lawn and Landscape Technician

Mowing Matters, DBA of Arnold Operations, LLC, is seeking a dependable, hardworking Lawn & Landscape Technician to join our growing team. This is a labor-intensive outdoor position requiring 30–40 hours per week, with pay ranging from $18–$25 per hour based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, mulching, planting, pruning, seasonal cleanups, landscape installation, and other lawn and property maintenance tasks. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, working on their feet for extended periods, regularly lifting and carrying 50+ pounds, and safely operating professional lawn and landscape equipment. Experience with zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand tools, and other landscaping equipment is highly desirable. Mechanical aptitude and experience maintaining or repairing small engines, mowers, trailers, vehicles, or other equipment are a strong plus, as are some carpentry, hardscaping, fencing, and general handyman skills. Relevant certifications, including pesticide/fertilizer application, equipment operation, or other lawn, landscape, or mechanical certifications, are preferred but not required. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, able to follow instructions, work effectively as part of a team, and take pride in producing high-quality work. A high school diploma or GED, U.S. citizenship, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
