Overview:
As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting during the night shift. Your expertise will ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional healthcare services. Required Skills:

• Valid LA or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• AHA ACLS and PALS certifications (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg RN experience
• Ability to work 6p-6a on a rotating schedule
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Prior experience in a hospital setting with diverse patient populations
• Additional certifications in specialized nursing areas

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
• At least 1 year of recent Med Surg RN experience in a hospital environment

Other Requirements:

• Ability to start as soon as possible
• Willingness to commit to an initial 13-week contract
• Must hold a current and active RN license in Louisiana or a Compact state
• Local and Travel Rates Available

Compensation for this role is $55.00 per hour, combined with a per diem rate, offering a competitive pay package.
