Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
Employment Type: W2 6 Month Contract with Possibility for Extensions
Pay Rate: $48.40–$50.40/hour – Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)
Work Model: Onsite for the first 90 days; hybrid option available after successful completion of the initial 90-day period.

Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C and C2H will not be considered.


Role Overview

BEPC is actively seeking a Sr. Procurement Specialist to support our client’s aerospace procurement and government sourcing operations in Phoenix, AZ.

This position will lead end-to-end FAR Part 15 procurement and subcontracting activities, with a strong focus on securing parts under contract, establishing long-term agreements, negotiating competitive pricing, and maintaining compliance with FAR, DFARS, and applicable government acquisition requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, contracts, business, or finance experience, with direct FAR Part 15 subcontracting experience. Success in this role requires the ability to move quickly from proposal through negotiation and award while maintaining strong documentation, compliance, and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of FAR Part 15 proposals and subcontracts supporting aerospace and government programs.
  • Execute compliant subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, TCPD, and other applicable regulations.
  • Conduct supplier market research and analyze supplier cost and pricing information.
  • Develop strong negotiation positions using cost analysis, pricing data, historical information, market intelligence, and other relevant inputs.
  • Lead supplier negotiations involving pricing, contractual terms, and long-term agreements.
  • Establish long-term agreements designed to provide stable, competitive pricing and reliable supply.
  • Drive increased contract coverage by efficiently negotiating and placing parts under contract.
  • Partner closely with Pricing, Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to develop compliant subcontract packages.
  • Support proposal development, sales order fulfillment, subcontract execution, and long-term purchase order negotiations.
  • Prepare and deliver complete and compliant FAR Part 15 packages.
  • Manage key program suppliers and develop supplier strategies that provide strong overall value.
  • Negotiate and manage various subcontract types, including FFP, CP, and CPIF agreements.
  • Support Truthful Cost or Pricing Data requirements and associated cost/price analysis.
  • Identify procurement and supplier risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Lead assigned commodities and support multiple proposals and active contract awards simultaneously.
  • Mentor and train team members on subcontracting processes, compliance requirements, negotiations, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate procurement and subcontract documentation throughout the contracting lifecycle.


Qualifications Required:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Contracts, Business, Finance, or a related function.
  • Direct FAR Part 15 subcontracting experience.
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements.
  • Strong negotiation experience and understanding of structured negotiation processes.
  • Ability to conduct or support supplier cost and price analysis.
  • Ability to develop compliant subcontract packages and supporting documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, proposals, and contract activities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned procurement activities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Contracts, or a related discipline.
  • Aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated procurement experience.
  • Experience supporting subcontractors throughout multiple phases of the program lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD).
  • Experience managing FFP, CP, CPIF, and other subcontract types.
  • Experience negotiating contract terms and conditions.
  • Experience developing long-term supplier agreements.
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and other subcontract management tools.
  • Supply chain and strategic sourcing experience.
  • Experience leading a commodity or supplier portfolio.
  • Previous mentoring or training experience.
