Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient Rehab Location: Memorial Satilla Rehab. This role involves providing outpatient rehab therapy within a 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. The position requires evaluating patients and supervising therapy assistants, with an emphasis on developing rapport and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Inpatient Rehab Therapy Team on a unit with 10 beds, staffed by 6 professionals. The therapist will perform evaluations, supervise therapists, and assist with patient therapies.
- Required Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist in Georgia, experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care rehab preferred, with the ability to develop rapport with patients quickly.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The therapist will utilize standard therapy gym equipment, document on paper, and work per APTA standards of professional work. No weekends or on-call days required.
