Charting System: Required, Epic.
⭐ Most Important Skills
- Cardiac Cath Lab: PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement, left/right heart cath, diagnostic catheterization
- Hemodynamics & Monitoring: Hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, dysrhythmia/arrhythmia recognition
- Vascular: Angioplasty, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, carotid stenting, endovascular interventions
- IR Procedures: Angiography, embolization, TIPS, nephrostomy, biliary drainage, gastrostomy
- Venous Access: PICC, central lines, ports
- Sterile/Scrub: Scrub procedures, sterile field, infection control
- Specialty Procedures: TAVR, Watchman, pacemaker insertion
- Equipment: Fluoroscopy, PACS, equipment setup/maintenance
- Safety: Isolation precautions/PPE, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
⭐ Preferred/Starred skills: Scrub—maintain sterile field, Carotid Stenting, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, TAVR, Watchman, Carotid Angiography.
