Mechanic II

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Duties:

Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment and systems

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities

Troubleshoot and repair:

• Mechanical systems
• Hydraulic systems
• Pneumatic systems
• Power transmission equipment

1. Disassemble, repair, rebuild, adjust, and reassemble complex machinery and components
2. Utilize diagnostic instruments, precision measuring devices, and specialized tools
3. Conduct equipment inspections and post-repair operational testing

Read and interpret:

• Maintenance manuals
• Mechanical drawings
• Schematics
• Manufacturer specifications

Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term corrective solutions

Assist with equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and special projects

Provide technical guidance and support to less-experienced mechanics

Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all safety procedures

Required:

• Ability to independently diagnose and repair moderately complex equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and specifications
• Experience using diagnostic tools and precision measuring equipment
