Apartment Make Ready Technician

SwiftTalent Partners is hiring Make Ready Technicians to prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents. This role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail and hands-on repair, painting, and punch-list experience.

What You'll Do:

· Inspect vacant units after move-out and identify items needing repair, replacement, cleaning, or touch-up.

· Complete drywall patching, painting, caulking, minor repairs, fixture checks, and final details.

· Check appliances, lights, outlets, switches, blinds, locks, doors, hardware, faucets, toilets, and disposals.

· Coordinate with maintenance, leasing, and vendors to help meet make-ready deadlines.

· Perform final walk-throughs so apartments are clean, functional, and ready for tours or move-ins.

· Update work orders, unit status, supply needs, and completed tasks in the property system.

· Support general maintenance requests and community upkeep as needed.

· Assist with community grounds upkeep as needed.

What We're Looking For:

· 1+ year of make-ready, apartment maintenance, construction, painting, or general trades experience preferred.

· Working knowledge of painting, drywall repair, caulking, basic plumbing, basic electrical, and minor repairs.

· Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, time management, and communication skills.

· Ability to read work orders and keep accurate notes on completed work.

· Reliable transportation and valid driver's license may be required; EPA 608, CAMT, or bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Schedule / Physical Requirements: Monday-Friday schedules are common; weekend availability may be needed during high-turn seasons. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors while standing, bending, kneeling, and using tools.
