Welder (MIG/TIG)

Job description

Proman Skilled Trades is currently seeking MIG and TIG Welders for a shop located in the Northwest Houston, TX 77041 area. Applicants will be responsible for welding and fabricating galvanized sheet metal, aluminum, and stainless steel components in a fast-paced shop environment.

Duties:

• Assemble and fabricate metal structures and equipment.
• Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
• Conduct quality checks using micrometers and other tools.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG and TIG.
• 3 years of experience minimum
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with machining processes is advantageous.
