As a Maintenance Mechanic in the food manufacturing industry, you will be a vital member of a medium-sized team (4 members) dedicated to keeping packaging machines and processing equipment running efficiently. This role involves regular monthly maintenance shutdowns to perform essential repairs and preventive tasks, ensuring equipment reliability and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain packaging and processing machinery
• Conduct preventive maintenance during scheduled shutdowns
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations
• Replace worn or damaged parts to prevent downtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical repairs in a food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of electrical systems related to manufacturing equipment
• Skills in welding for equipment maintenance and repair
