Building Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician to help keep its facilities safe, efficient, and well-maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting skills and extensive building maintenance experience.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

-Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building systems.
-Respond promptly to maintenance requests; inspect facilities for safety hazards and complete necessary corrective work.
-Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs while ensuring all work meets company safety and maintenance standards.
-Maintain tools and supply inventory, document completed repairs, and keep accurate maintenance logs.

Required Skills & Experience

-10+ years of experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
-Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical building systems.
-Proficiency with hand and power tools and the ability to independently diagnose and repair equipment and building systems.
-Strong communication and customer service skills, with the physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying conditions.

Preferred Skills & Experience

-Experience coordinating or working alongside outside contractors on specialized maintenance projects.
-Experience maintaining detailed repair records, maintenance logs, tools, and parts inventories.

Pay Rate Range - 29-30 per hour
