Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring 3+ years of experience and current ARRT (R) certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital with 75 beds and a dedicated Radiology/CT Scan department
- 4x10 schedule working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Call requirement of every 8th weekend and 1 holiday, with on-call availability to report within 30 minutes of notification
- No floating required
- Utilizes GE Lightspeed 16 and 64 slice CT scanners and GE XR imaging equipment
- Uses MedHost EHR system
- Treats all patient populations from infant through geriatric, including bariatric patients
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required
- KY State Radiation License required
- License required if applicable
- Must have X-ray and CT skills; formal CT certification not required but working knowledge of CT is necessary
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision required
- Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Additional Information
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Black scrubs only per facility dress code
- Team player mentality, dedication, and strong work ethic expected
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and not eligible for travel rate
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
