Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of adult rehab experience for a skilled nursing facility rehab department.
Details
- Skilled nursing facility rehab setting focused on adult patients
- Departmental coverage provided 7 days per week from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 5-day work week with possible one weekend day (Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat)
- Hours worked per two-week period may be up to 88 hours with no guarantee of hours or shift preference
- Uses Meditech EMR system
- Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed based on hospital operations
Requirements
- Current, active state license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience in at least one adult care setting such as acute, SNF, rehab hospital, or outpatient
- Primary experience in SNF rehab preferred
- BLS certification required
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic assessments and prepare and implement treatment plans for a full range of rehabilitation and habilitation cases
- May provide all occupational therapy services for a unit, center, or facility
- Services are provided 24/7 to support hospital operations
- Must arrive at the facility the Friday prior to a Monday start to complete employee health and HR clearance with no exceptions
- All compliance documents must be completed and uploaded no later than one week before the start date
