Job Description

Summary:

TheField Support team serves to provide excellent service to field personnel (agents, Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Multiple Line General Agents (MLGAs))regardingone or more disciplines (personal, ag & commercial). The Sr Field Support Specialist provides comprehensive service to multiple lines of business (personal, ag & commercial) andassistswith more complex agent situations.The Sr Field Support Specialist provides training and mentorship to newer and less experienced team members.

Employees in this roleare required toaccurately record all hours worked andsubmittimesheetsin accordance withcompany policy. Overtime may be assigned as business needsdictate, and employees are expected to work overtime whenrequired.

This is a 100%in-office position. Candidates must be able to work on-site at a designated company office during standard business hours.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Answers telephone calls promptly providing solutions to the caller's questions.

  • Answers emails promptly providing solutions to the writer's questions.

  • Documentscontent of calls and emails.

  • Contacts new agents/agencies to confirm set up and familiarize with resources.

  • Participates in project teams for assigned system development, enhancement, testing, and training.

  • Assistswithtraining ofnew team members.

  • Works on special projects as needed.

Qualifications / Experience Required:

  • High school diploma.

  • Four to six years of experience.

  • Supervisory/management experiencenotapplicable.

  • Minimum of four years of customer service experience.

  • Knowledge of insurancerequired; in-depth knowledge of lines of business for multiple disciplines.

  • Experience with insurance operating systems; in-depth knowledge of operating systems for multiple disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Insurance designation.

Salary range is $47022 - $74000
