Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina SLP License required
• SLP-CCC certification strongly preferred
• Experience working in school-based settings supporting students’ speech and language needs
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and adapting to various student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language pathology services to students, focusing on assessment, intervention, and prevention
• Conduct thorough evaluations and create individualized plans compatible with each student’s unique needs
• Collaborate regularly with educational teams to support student progress and contribute to positive outcomes
• Document all services and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, as well as district standards
• Engage with families and school staff to foster a collaborative, student-centered environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional expertise for speech and language development
