This role balances operational oversight with direct management of 5–6 studies, requiring strong presence, real-time support, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Clinical Research Coordinators and research staff.
  • Oversee study timelines, documentation, trackers, and post-study activities for compliance and timely deliverables.
  • Maintain daily presence in the clinic, offering operational support and guidance.
  • Manage a small portfolio of studies while overseeing broader site operations.
  • Ensure optimal workload management and resource utilization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Address performance concerns and support professional development.
  • Serve as a client-facing representative to sponsors and maintain sponsor relationships.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance study execution.

Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years of clinical research experience and prior team leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of clinical study timelines and execution.
  • Experience in ALS or cosmetic clinical research highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with devices such as the Cutometer, Tewameter, Corneometer, VISIA, and Chromameter is a strong plus.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and client-facing skills.

Success Measures (First 3–6 Months):

  • Rapid proficiency in client’s processes and systems.
  • Improved team accountability and operational efficiency.
  • Consistently met study timelines and deliverables.
  • Optimized workload and balanced clinic/administrative duties.
  • Strengthened employee engagement and team collaboration.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical research professional who enjoys leading people, solving operational challenges, creating structure, and helping teams thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact clinical setting.
