Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential (state eligibility required)
- Experience with grades 6-8 preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organization skills for case management and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Special Education Teacher/Case Manager for approximately 12 students (6th-8th grade)
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work full-time, Monday through Thursday, 7:45am – 4:15pm
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Track progress, maintain records, and provide advocacy for students
