Job Description
This role involves performing physically demanding general labor tasks in an outdoor manufacturing environment that produces concrete products such as manholes. You will support daily operations by bending pipe, mixing materials, and assisting in molding products while using hand and power tools. The position requires a strong work ethic, a desire to work long hours, and a willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company.
Responsibilities
- Bend pipe and mix materials to support the molding and production of concrete products.
- Assist with general labor tasks in an outdoor manufacturing setting, including moving materials and maintaining work areas.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for daily tasks.
- Read a tape measure frequently to ensure accurate measurements and proper product specifications, when required.
- Support construction-related activities such as setting up forms, preparing materials, and helping with concrete work as needed.
- Stand and work on your feet for extended periods, typically 10 or more hours per day.
- Perform heavy lifting and carry materials throughout the shift in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work in a loud, dirty, non-climate-controlled environment, including outdoor warehouse areas.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain attention to detail to ensure quality and safe operations.
- Work overtime as needed, including 10+ hours of overtime per week and occasional mandatory Saturday shifts with advance notice.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete daily production goals.
- Demonstrate a strong attitude toward learning, taking initiative, and seeking opportunities to expand into machine operation or other areas.
Essential Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor-intensive work outdoors for long hours, including shifts from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Experience with heavy lifting and working with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to stand on your feet for 8–10+ hours per day.
- Experience in construction, general labor, heavy labor, or landscaping.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and quality work.
- Ability to work safely in a loud, dirty, non-climate-controlled environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work overtime, including occasional mandatory Saturdays.
- Motivation to learn, take initiative, and pursue growth opportunities.
- Ability to read a tape measure (preferred and strongly valued, but may be flexible for the right candidate).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Concrete experience is a significant plus and highly valued.
- Construction experience is a plus, particularly in environments involving concrete or similar materials.
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
- Previous experience in outdoor or warehouse-based manufacturing environments is beneficial.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-focused setting.
- Willingness to cross-train and learn machine operation or other technical tasks.

Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
