Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join a manufacturing team in Greenville, Pennsylvania on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. This position supports daily quality operations through careful review of documentation, coordination of testing information, and maintenance of organized records. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, communicates well with others, and is motivated to build knowledge of specifications, compliance expectations, and quality processes.
Responsibilities:
• Examine customer, industry, and internal specifications to understand applicable quality and testing requirements.
• Evaluate order documentation to confirm standards, tolerances, and testing criteria are accurately applied.
• Partner with quality team members to review test reports and verify that material certifications meet compliance expectations.
• Record, compile, and maintain trial and testing data to support quality analysis and reporting.
• Track information related to rejected items, inspections, and test outcomes to help monitor product quality trends.
• Maintain structured filing systems for quality records so documents can be retrieved quickly and accurately.
• Assist with document control activities to ensure revisions, approvals, and records are properly managed.
• Coordinate external laboratory testing and organize returned results for internal reference and follow-up.
• Provide additional support across the Quality Assurance function as business needs evolve.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability and willingness to learn technical specifications, quality systems, and computer-based processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation in a precise and orderly manner.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing reports, records, and customer requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach to team-based work.
• Prior exposure to quality assurance, testing, or document review in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with manual testing or quality assurance practices is helpful.
