Contract-to-Hire | $24-$26/hr | Grand Prairie, TX (Hybrid after Training)

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a collaborative accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys high-volume invoice processing, account reconciliations, and problem-solving in a fast-paced corporate environment.

This position offers long-term growth potential with a hybrid schedule available after training.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
• Code invoices and ensure proper expense allocation.
• Process freight invoices, debit memos, credit memos, and RMAs.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies while communicating with internal departments and vendors.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and assist with account maintenance.
• Support month-end Accounts Payable activities and assist with accounting projects as needed.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure timely invoice processing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience performing three-way matching.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred (or currently pursuing a degree with accounting coursework).
• ERP experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
