Special Education Teacher in Lakewood, OH

This contract position is set to begin in August 2026 and will continue through June 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with 40 hours each week near the Lakewood, OH area. You’ll work alongside educators and support staff to deliver individualized instruction, ensuring every student’s unique needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist License required
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to a variety of learning styles

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned K-8 students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to provide a supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
