Key Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Special Education Early Intervention Certificate (Birth–5)
• Strong grasp of special education procedures, compliance, and state regulations
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Familiarity with PreK and Kindergarten curriculum and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
• Previous classroom experience with young learners in special education is highly valued

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction based on IEPs for PreK/Kindergarten students
• Develop and modify lesson plans to address each student’s unique needs
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress, updating IEP goals as needed
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain required records and paperwork in compliance with all guidelines
• Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
