X-Ray Technician - Cicero, Illinois

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm
• 13-week contract
• Rotating every other weekend
• Holidays as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
• Valid state license to practice as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist
• Proven experience performing adult X-ray imaging in a hospital or clinic
• Strong working knowledge of digital radiography equipment and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and care teams
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of adult patients
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with facility policies
• Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times by adhering to established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures as needed
• Manage equipment supplies, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and coordinating maintenance

$2,023 - $2,132/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
