Vice President of Finance (S) - Permanent/ Direct Hire

seeking an experienced, hands‐on Vice President of Finance to oversee multi‐company financials, payroll, and all core accounting operations. This role supports senior leadership and ensures accurate, timely financial reporting in a fast‐paced healthcare environment.

We are looking for someone with a CPA (non-negotiable), based in Florida (Tampa area), with healthcare experience (Physician office or working with physician) — ophthalmology would be ideal.

Experience in small, privately owned medical practices (rather than large corporate environments) is required.

Tax experience would be a plus.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• CPA required

• 10-15 years accounting & finance experience

• 10–15 years accounting management experience

• Healthcare experience strongly preferred

• Experience in family/private‐practice organizations

• Multi‐company & multi‐site accounting experience

• Payroll & workers’ compensation experience

• Basic tax knowledge

• Experience converting systems (payroll platforms, QuickBooks)

• Familiarity with AI tools in accounting a plus
