Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems across diverse outdoor settings to ensure optimal watering coverage.

• Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components, including valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinklers, to identify issues early.

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, and general groundskeeping to support healthy plant growth.

• Operate a variety of grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment safely, including power tools, hand tools, and specialized irrigation machinery.

• Identify different plant species and assess their watering needs; manage pesticide applications responsibly when necessary.

• Follow strict safety protocols during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.

• Assist with seasonal tasks like snow plowing or hardscape maintenance to keep outdoor spaces functional year-round.

Requirements

• Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of grounds maintenance and landscaping practices.

• Mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems, pumps, valves, and related equipment.

• Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, lawn care, tree care, gardening, and hardscape upkeep.

• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and grounds equipment safely and efficiently.

• Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management for responsible landscape care.

• Excellent attention to safety protocol adherence during all tasks to ensure personal safety and team well-being.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
