Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Louisiana SPED Early Intervention (Birth-5) Certificate required
• Strong knowledge of special education procedures and IEP implementation
• Experience with PreK and Kindergarten curriculum and instructional planning
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, staff, and families to promote student success
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to early childhood special education students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a supportive classroom setting that addresses both academic and social-emotional growth
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to set goals and share progress updates
