Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is open for a skilled professional with expertise in diagnostic imaging, specifically with X-ray technology. This contract role is tailored for an experienced technologist ready to provide exceptional care and imaging services to adult patients.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm
- Rotating every other weekend
- Holidays as assigned
- 13-week contract duration
Key Qualifications:
- Active certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT, or equivalent)
- Proficient in X-ray imaging for adult patients, with emphasis on accurate positioning and high-quality image acquisition
- Current state license (if required by state regulations)
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to radiation and patient care
- Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively within a healthcare team
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing clinical demands
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for adult patients, ensuring images meet provider requirements for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Prepare and position patients safely, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols
- Uphold strict adherence to infection control and patient privacy standards
- Accurately maintain patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
