Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support a civil litigation matter in Boston, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position will play a key role in case development by preparing legal documents, managing discovery activities, and contributing to trial readiness through each phase of the litigation process. The ideal candidate brings strong legal writing ability, sound judgment, and the capacity to work closely with leadership on an active and evolving case.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and refine interrogatories, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents with a high standard of accuracy and legal analysis.
• Support all phases of discovery by organizing materials, drafting responses, and helping develop case strategy based on the factual record.
• Draft pleadings and related court filings in accordance with procedural requirements and case deadlines.
• Assist with trial preparation by coordinating exhibits, witness materials, timelines, and other pre-trial deliverables.
• Collaborate with managing partners and legal leadership to evaluate case developments and advance litigation objectives.
• Conduct legal research and translate findings into clear, persuasive written work product for use in motions and case preparation.• Active Massachusetts attorney license is required.
• Demonstrated experience handling civil litigation matters.
• Strong background in drafting motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents.
• Working knowledge of discovery processes, including written discovery and case document review.
• Excellent legal writing and editing skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a litigation-focused environment.
