Job Summary
A growing construction organization in the Shreveport/Bossier City area is seeking a Director of Workforce Development to build and lead employee development, recruiting, training, retention, and leadership growth programs. This is a direct hire opportunity for a people-focused HR, recruiting, workforce development, or operations leader who enjoys creating structure, developing talent, and helping a company scale.
This newly created role offers the opportunity to work directly with the President and take ownership of key employee development initiatives that will shape the future of the organization. The Director of Workforce Development will play a highly visible role in strengthening the team, building career paths, improving retention, and preparing the next generation of supervisors and managers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruiting and hiring efforts for field, office, supervisory, and management positions.
- Develop onboarding, training, employee development, and performance review programs.
- Create career paths, advancement opportunities, and leadership development plans for employees.
- Identify workforce gaps, staffing needs, and opportunities to improve retention and engagement.
- Build and maintain organizational structure, including the company organizational chart and workforce planning processes.
- Coach supervisors and managers while providing guidance on employee-related matters and recommended solutions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range provided: $65,000 to $85,000 per year.
