X-Ray Technician | Orland Park, Illinois

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Opportunity available for an experienced Radiologic Technologist skilled in both standard X-ray imaging and supporting procedures in the operating room. The ideal candidate has a background in hospital or clinical environments, and demonstrates confidence working independently during night shifts.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Option of 9pm – 7am (4x10’s) or 11pm – 7:30am (5x8’s)
• Rotate weekends
• 13-week contract

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist required
• Valid state licensure as applicable to radiology technologists
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in X-ray imaging
• Demonstrated experience providing imaging support in the OR (operating room)
• Current BLS certification
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Support surgical teams with intraoperative imaging in the OR
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of radiologic equipment with strict attention to quality and safety standards
• Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information using hospital systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Flexibility to rotate weekends as required by the facility

$2,023 - $2,132/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
