Machine Op/Injection Molding Plastic

Mancan Staffing has partnered with a company in Middlefield in need of machine operators. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 3pm-11pm and candidates will be paid $16.00/hr to start.

Job Summary: Responsible for producing, inspecting, and packaging quality parts within established production standards

Primary Functions:
Keep work area clean and organized
Accurately complete required production and labor reporting paperwork
Perform high quality work with a minimum of 100% production efficiency
Perform high quality work with a minimum of 97% quality efficiency
Inspect 100% of all part and inserts molded and sort by means of visual inspections, touch, and measuring devices to insure parts have no defects
Communicate with previous shift operator to receive important job information
Communicate with following shift operator to give importation job information
Follow operator methods/work instructions and control plans as provided
Immediately notify supervisor of any out of control conditions (ex: scrap, molding difficulties)

Requirements/Training:
Safety training
On the job training
Must follow any other reasonable instructions provided by their Supervisor as this job description may not be all inclusive
Must function in the best interest of the organization as a whole in order to promote an effective team oriented environment

Physical Requirements:
Perform job while standing or sitting. Must be able to climb up and down a step ladder
Use loading board, max 15 lbs.
Lift material/cartons from floor, max 40 lbs
